Spring Break, Day 4: Islands of Adventure
Good evening, everyone! I hope you all have had a pleasant start to the week. After a fully scheduled weekend of Disney parks, we had a nice change of pace today. While we flounced around Islands of Adventure (part of Universal Studios) this morning, the latter half of the day was occupied at a more leisurely pace—napping and gym time were involved:) Here’s how I ate my way through this lovely Monday:
More coffee maker oats this morning, made all the better with a little Lara action. (As requested, I’ll provide a more detailed description of this cooking method in a future post).
Then it was off to Islands of Adventure…
After riding The Hulk rollercoaster a whopping three times, we got a little hangry. We opted to dine at a sit-down eatery in the park, where the vegetarian options were limited, but I managed to get some tasty vegetable fajitas for my meal. Excellent guac!
After our quiet afternoon in, we ventured out for some Indian food for dinner. ‘Twas amazing—I might have to try to recreate this dish in the Broccoli Hut kitchen sometime!
Now it’s time for some more relaxation. Be back soon, lovelies!

Hello and welcome! I have created this blog for people who love food, especially healthful, vegetarian food.
I have just graduated from Duke University with degrees in English and psychology. I plan to pursue a master's degree in nutrition starting in Fall 2010. Ideally, I would like to combine my love of food and the written word someday as a health writer.
