And the Winner Is…

As you may recall, yesterday I tapped into the creativity of the foodie blogosphere for some potential car names. Thank you all so much for your great suggestions! After careful consideration, the winning name for my new toy did not come from a commenter at all; rather, it came from the same person who conjured up the name for my blog—Daddy, of course.

My dad suggested the name Anderson, as in Anderson Cooper. Get it? I shall call him Andy for short:)

Anyway, this name is particularly fitting because Anderson Cooper was my first ever reporter crush—yes, I’ve had multiple reporter crushes. Since then, I’ve moved onto the likes of Tucker Carlson

…and Peter Alexander

I digress. Let’s get onto the food before I get myself in trouble with Seth.

I needed brain food this morning before my test, so I made myself a tasty breakfast sandwich with eggs, 2% cheese, and tomatoes. Who needs Mickey D’s?

What you see below was consumed in approximately 5 minutes in between test sections. Turbo-eating at its best.

When I returned from my rather strenuous test, I discovered a lifetime supply of Greek yogurt waiting for me:

Holy Voskos! Can’t wait to try all these flavors!

I’ve been craving chili for the last few days, so I satisfied my body’s demands this evening with some of the pumpkin-bulgur variety.

Alright, off to work on my applications!

  2. Do you have a recipe for the pumpkin bulgur chili – it sounds awesome!

I love the name you picked – Dad’s always know best. :)

  3. Voskos yogurt rocks!

  4. Hahaha multiple reporter crushes. Loves it. Here’s who is at the top of my list: Jon Stewart. Be still my heart. Tucker Carlson is pretty cute too, but I would think he was cuter if he wasn’t such an a-hole. Oops I just gave away my political leanings. But you probably could have guessed them anyways ;)

  5. love the name! it’s perfect.

  6. LOVE the Cooper name!

Look at all that Greek yogurt…. can’t wait to hear how the flavors are!

Best of luck with your applications!

  7. yummy looking brain food! i hope it did the trick ;)

  8. I can totally see the resemblance between your car and Anderson Cooper ;) Perfect name. Clever dad!

I wish we had more Greek yogurt brands in Canada. Currently there are 3, but 2 of them only make full fat Greek yogurts – we’re talking like, 10 – 12%, which is just a bit much for every day eating.

  9. Too funny–I seriously had that exact same breakfast for lunch yesterday (minus the tomato!)

  10. Holy yogurt! Love the name- too cute. And your breakfast sandwich looks amazing…yay for eggs!

  11. I sort of find Anderson Cooper really attractive.

  12. Pretty awesome day of eats for someone in turbo mode! I am drooling over the bulgur chili!

  13. Andy fits your new car (which I’m obsessed with, btw) perfectly. Love your crushes- I have tons of random ones, but no reporter crushes (yet).

  14. Oh yum, pumpkin seeds! I haven’t had those in ages, but I’m on such a sunflower kick lately. :D

Look at all those yogurts! What a perfect package of goodies. :D

  15. Anderson is the perfect name!

  16. I’m sooo jealous of all your Voskos samples! The non-fat plain is my new favorite yogurt, but it’s so expensive! I haven’t tried any of the other flavors, but the non-fat plain has the best nutritional facts ever!
