Blogger Nightmare

Good afternoon, everyone! I am just checking in to let you all know that my worst fears have been realized–Lenny the Laptop died yesterday. As a student and blogger, I need a computer to function, so I am off to Best Buy this weekend (laptop recommendations are welcome!). Anyway, in the interim between now and my eventual computer purchase, I will be unable to blog. Tragic, yes, but unavoidable. I will continue to take pictures of my eats, however, so get pscyhed for a monster re-cap post soon:)

    Since you are a student, Apple gives you a free printer and a free Ipod touch if you get a macbook and they are really nice computers!

    Get a mac!!! Ecto is a great mac-based blogging software that is cheap. I’ve been a solid mac user for about 10 years now. ibook (they don’t make them anymore), then macbook, now macbook pro. All are great computers, you really can’t go wrong with any of them. And you get a student discount.

    Noooooo! That is my worst nightmare. It actually happened to me 2 years ago.. terrifying stuff. I lost everything because I was an idiot and didn’t back anything up. I hope you’re back in action soon!

    I HIGHLY suggest getting a macbook(or macbook pro if you have the budget for one), either way you will not be disappointed :]
    ps. I am the most impatient when it comes to computer mishaps hence why i love my macbook pro!

    That is definitely the worst nightmare for a blogger, but especially for a student.
    The other day I was walking through campus to my class and my lovely backpack decides to randomly open, spilling out my laptop – which fell very hard onto the cement underneath my feet…grrr!!! Luckily the case absorbed most of the impact and it just underwent a few scratches.
    I would highly recommend a Mac…once you use a Mac, you never go back! I’m loving my Mac Book Pro – yes a little pricey, but definitely worth it!
