Honest Award

honest_awardGood afternoon! I am interrupting my post schedule to express my thanks for an award. JB, the culinary goddess behind the Cardiovegsular blog, was kind enough to pass this award along to me. I’m glad someone enjoys reading my posts besides me!

The accompanying rules for this accolade are as follows:

  • Brag about it.

I think my posting it is an exercise of vanity in itself.

  • Pass it along to 7 brilliant bloggers, and link to their blogs.

Given the abundance of fabulous food blogs out there, rather than choosing just 7, I will direct you all to my blogroll. The list is incomplete, but those are some of my favorite blogs with amazing authors.

  • List 10 honest things about yourself.

1. I have flat feet. Like friggin’ pancake flat.

2. I really hate driving.

3. I am completely disgusted by belly buttons.

4. My sister and her husband call me Fran, as in Francine the aardvark (from the Arthur book series).

5. I am a mezzo soprano.

6. My birthday is December 24th, hence my (excessive?) obsession with Christmas.

7. I’ve never broken a bone.

8.  I drank bleach when I was 3. I don’t recommend it.

9. The most recent song that I downloaded on iTunes was Miley Cyrus’s cover of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” Shh. Don’t tell!

10. I get cranky when my cookbooks get de-alphabetized.

    Haha I’m with you and Katie. I hate driving with a passion (but most get to the grocery store somehow!) and I’ve never broken a bone either.

    One honest thing about me? Hmm, I started getting gray hairs when I was 14, and then started getting dark brown/black hair again at age 21 (no more grays now!). So I am reverse aging :D

    Haha, at your crazy bleach-drinking adventures! I know of some people who accidentely drank bleach from (foolishly) trying to whiten their teeth… Not smart! Haha :)

    An honest fact about me? I like marinara sauce and ketchup but I cannot eat raw tomatoes for beans! They make me gag! :(

    While I hate Miley Cyrus with a passion, I do have her CD on my iPod. She has a good voice, what can I say!
