In the Spirit
Although I have been counting down to Christmas since September, now that the season has officially arrived, I haven’t been celebrating as much as is my habit. However, now that I am home and don’t have, ahem, any distractions, my Christmas spirit has arrived. I spent the afternoon decorating the family Christmas tree and flouncing to holiday music. Just as I did last year, I’d like to share a few of my most beloved ornaments with you all:
Aside from my yuletide activities, I did manage to document my meals as well.
Friday
While Skyping with Seth, I decided a simple dinner would be best. Annie’s to the rescue. Oh, and yes, the D.W.-shaped noodles make it taste infinitely better.
Smoothie time has returned!
Saturday
Due to an apparent lack of “Caroline food” in the house, I settled for cereal for breakfast.
Fortunately, I did manage to find some tofu in the back of the fridge in time for lunch.
I’ve been craving tomato soup and grilled cheese for the past few weeks, and I finally satisfied my taste buds last night with Imagine’s version.
Hemp is good…but Spirutein is better.
Sunday
Breakfast featured some of my homemade cranberry sauce.
Look! Christmas-colored salad!
The whole fam came over for dinner and Christmas card picture time. I just ate up some veggified leftovers.
Hope you all had a pleasant weekend:)

Hello and welcome! I have created this blog for people who love food, especially healthful, vegetarian food.
I currently attend college in North Carolina, where I am studying English and psychology, although I plan on pursuing an additional degree in nutrition after I graduate. Ideally, I would like to combine my love of food and the written word someday as a health writer.

That last photo is just too precious
