Margot Does Birmingham

As I mentioned last night, today was a big travel day for Margot and me. Allow me to provide you with a summary of our crazy day.

6:17 AM Pack breakfast.

6:24 AM Place Margot in her carrier in hopes that she will get accustomed to it and calm down. Wishful thinking, I know.

7:34 AM Walk through security at RDU airport. Margot gets fawned over by multiple TSA agents. I have a plane to catch, people.

8:15 AM Take off. I silently thank the Lord that airplanes are so loud no one can hear Margot’s whimpers.

11:40 AM Arrive in Birmingham. Margot takes a celebratory poop.

12:34 PM The two generations of Jack Russell Terriers meet at last.

2:04 PM Hit up the Whole Foods salad bar with Dad.

4:26 PM Margot meets the Boxers. She gets “boxed.”

6:32 PM Return home for a family supper featuring the fruits of summer.

I love home.

    Mmm…home is so, so, so good. :D

    I love that when I’m home, it just feels relaxed. I can be a busy girl with too many things to do, but it still feels okay. Normal. :D

    I also like that the cupboards are always filled with cereals, nut butters, and plenty of whole grains. But that’s just an added perk. :D

    Glad the trip went well! Love the celebratory poop hahahaha. And so cool that she gets to meet all of her pupper relatives. My favorite thing about home? Just time with my parents and my Mom’s awesome cooking!

    I love that home is truly where the heart is. My “three daily loved ones” (as I call them – well, four actually… can’t forget Chooey) are there.

    I love being home because someone else just sort of takes care of all of the important stuff. I’m an only child, if you can tell!
