Margot’s Day Out
Good evening, blog friends! Today was a beautiful day here in Raleigh, so this afternoon we decided to bring Margot out on her first trip to the park. Take a look at the pictures below, and you’ll see that we all had a great time!
What did you do to relax this weekend?
Here’s how the food part of the weekend went down…
Saturday
As my recent recipes will attest, I just can’t get enough blueberry-coconut action these days.
For lunch, I made a spicy tuna salad wrap with a combination of that delicious Lemonaise, Greek yogurt, and cayenne pepper.
Seth and I attended a work-related party last night from which we didn’t return until late. I cobbled together a simple meal out of a baked potato and leftover broccoli.
Sunday
I was craving savory foods this morning, so I made a big egg scramble.
After our big day at the park, I came home and re-fueled with my Apple Edamame Salad.
With temperatures topping 90 degrees, I was in no mood to heat up the kitchen tonight, so we headed to Panera for some take-out. I got the usual.

Good night, all!

Hehe, the picture of Seth throwing Margot into the air is classic. Love it. Especially with his physics shirt on!
Have you tried baked potatoes with greek yogurt? SOOOO good, tastes just like sour cream!

Lulu wants a puppy SOOOO bad. She is banned from your blog.
Ah! The pup pictures are awesome!!! She is so tiny- love it! Sounds like you guys had a nice weekend with great eats. Apples are awesome in salads and I need black bean soup now
Not a whole lot of relaxing this weekend- we traveled for Josh’s sisters graduation
Margot is so adorable! My mom’s Jack Russell is named Mazie, and your pictures remind me of her puppyhood.
I also had to mention that we have the same “usual” from Panera. I don’t eat there a lot, but that’s always the combo I get.
omg shes super cute and tiny!
Hi – I just discovered your blog and I love it. Look forward to reading more posts
Margot is the cutest little dog ever! I showed the pics to my son and he loved her too!

Margot is precious!! I’m curious to know what coconut butter tastes like?! Is it sweet or more savory/buttery ?
I just saved $9 in coupons since it was triple coupon week at HT! I don’t get how some of these people get $1 off 10/$10 when every coupon I find is “Limit 4 coupons per trip”… or “Not subject to doubling”…
I want to read your coupon post now.
That photo of Seth tossing Margot is hilarious!!!
