Mini Golf Masters
Sadly, today marks our last day in Ocean Isle. However, as a result of a wicked sunburn earlier in the week, we did not spend our last day by the seashore. Rather, we bid farewell by doing another quintessentially beach-y activity: mini golf, of course.
Although I managed to get a hole-in-one along the way, I came in third place among our party of four. Seth was the true “mini golf master” of the day, coming in first.
How are your mini golf (aka putt-putt) skills?
Our day also included another swim, a little shopping, and one last long walk on the beach. All this activity required sufficient re-fueling:
Thursday
Strawberry Jay Robb=not up to par. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist a little golf pun). Vanilla and chocolate were far superior.
Friday
We had a full day planned, so I had a simple bowl of cereal for breakfast.
My options for lunch were limited, as we are trying to eat up the contents of the refrigerator before our departure tomorrow morning. Seems to be a common theme, no?
The fam had pepperoni pizza for dinner, so I opted for an alternative frozen option, Kashi’s Veggie Chana Masala:
I love how Kashi’s frozen meals actually contain a decent amount of vegetables. I would have preferred a bit more of the pilaf, however.
Alright, I am off to soak up the last bit of beach time. Happy weekend!

Mini golf is so much fun! It’s simple but guarantees lots of laughs. The perfect way to end a vacation. Glad you had a good time!
My boyfriend and I are obsessed with playing mini golf whenever we go on vacation! It’s so much fun. I’m not very good at it though!
my mini golf skills are terrible but my competitive spirit increases for some reason.
you guys are stylin in the proper masters attire. I’ve been wondering which Kashi entree to choose (they only have a handful of veggie ones). that one looks to be a good option!
My mini-golf skills are super sub-par. Actually, so are my regular golf skills. I see a theme here.
I wish Kashi would bring out their frozen meals here, as I’d like to give them a try. Even though I generally don’t buy frozen meals, I’d give them a go to see if they were worth it when you need something good to eat in a pinch (like at work!)
Mini golf is so much fun. It is a shame you don’t see too many places like that anymore. Glad you had a great finish to your vacation.
You take such fun vacations.
Golf and that berry smoothie = so summer. Jealous!
As far as frozen dinners go, kashi definitely has one of the best.
I love that they incorporate whole grains into the mix too.
Everything looks like a blast. I can’t remember the last time I went mini-golfing….too fun!
i saw your mini golf pics on FB – SO CUTE! and for that being the leftover food you guys have, those meals look delish. especially that smoothie – what was all in it?
happy rest of vacationing
oh gosh I am so bad at mini golf, its not even funny! but I still always end up playing and having the best time!
enjoy the last of the vacation!!
I HATE mini golf!! Only because I completely suck at it and I’m a sore loser, lol. Loved your pics though, and your happy face!
I haven’t played mini gulf in so long! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.
Glad you had a fun vacation! I love mini golf, even though I’m not very patient and not very good at putting!
I’ve tried Kashi’s meals before, and I really like them.
First off, Congrats on graduating !!! Secondly, looks like you had a fabulous vacay, I love Mini golf BTW even though my skills are less than fabulous. Also, I love the Kashi Meal, I haven’t seen that one yet but will keep my eyes out for it!
awwwww what a adorbs little golf date you had there
i seriously SUCK at mini golf. like couldn’t be any worse. but congrats on the hole in one
here’s a golf pun….your use of leftover fridge foods is a hole in one
