More Panda, Please
As I Tweeted about earlier today, I can’t get enough Panda—no, not that Panda:
I’m talking about Panda Licorice, of course. Occasionally, I receive samples as a part of my gig as a product reviewer for VegFamily. Hence my good fortune to receive these little gems:
Panda makes all-natural licorice using only a few relatively healthful ingredients: molasses, wheat flour, organic carrot juice concentrate, plus fruit purees for the raspberry and cherry flavors. Hmm, ya think Twizzlers have the same ingredients? I think not. Anyway, their wholesome ingredients list, in combination with their plain ol’ tastiness, has had me snickety-snackin’ all day. I know what I’m taking with me to the movie theater next time:)
What snacks do you like to smuggle into the movie theater? I may or may not have been called out on multiple occasions for having Goldfish and Craisins in my purse…
Aside from chewing on candy, I managed to eat a few more nutritious things today too:
Best. Oatmeal. Ever. Blueberry-banana oats, you make my heart sing.
Amidst homeworking, I took a break for lunch and invoked my inner salad muse.
It’s been far too long since I last had a dose of tofu (four days, at least!), so the dinner menu was a no-brainer. I cracked open a fresh jar of PB to make some Peanut Butter Noodles with tofu. Glorious.
Now I am off to paint my toes for tomorrow evening’s part-ay. Ciao, lovelies.

I was so relieved when I realized that were talking about Panda Licorice and not Panda Express!!
I always carry in my own movie snacks – trail mix or popcorn popped at home are my two favorites to sneak in.
PS I love the formatting of your photos. Do you do that to each photo or is it part of your template??
I’ve seen those panda snacks in stores! They’re always so tempting
Now I may have to try them
I’ve been known to smuggle my own drinks and chocolate into the movie theatre
I LOVE Panda black licorice! Besides a better ingredient list, twizzlers definitely has nothing on Panda in the taste department. When I go to the movie, I mix up a container of a few different kinds of cereal to snack on and of course a bottle of water! (gotta have the big purse)
I hope you have fun at the party and i laughed when i read your comment re that kashi roll bar with your teeth. Girl..wow!
Panda post is very cute, i likey
Oooh! I love blueberries in my oatmeal. It’s wonderful when they get all hot and burst open. That’s nature’s candy right there. I also love your salad; it’s gorgeous! The bowl it’s in is also quite a nice shape (I know, that sounds like a weird compliment but I’m a fellow blogger so I appreciate such things
). Do you know where you got it? I’ve been on the lookout for pretty&&vibrant dishes lately. Also (while I’m in the question asking mood,) how did you become a reviewer for vegfamily?
Have a lovely day!

I love gummies when I’m in the theaters…things that are chewy! I’m not the biggest licorice fan, but flavored is fine. I’m intrigued by their use of carrot juice in their products…so cool!!
can you believe that I’ve never had panda? now I think I need to try it!
love your pB tofu noodles. i’ve been having stir-fry noodles almost everyday for lunch!
MMM black licorice is the best! I like the panda licorice teddy bears- not that they taste different but they’re just cute:)
Hehe, who buys cinema snacks they’re so overpriced and definitely not the healthiest, I like to take in little baggies of dried fruit or bars.
xxxxx
OMGGG black licorice is my FAVORITE candy! I was always that weird kid who loved good and plentys when everyone else liked snickers or hersheys bars…seriously amazing!! thank you for the review! I need to get some panda stuff next time at whole foods!
I smuggle in gummy candies and popcorn. Once I brought in a bag of baby carrots, but learned my lesson when I was too embarrassed to chew them!
Those candies sound good! I love all this new all-natural candy. I was in a convenience store the other night looking for a snack and like every candy bar had HFCS so I ended up getting dried fruit.
I’ve definitely smuggled craisins into a movie theater quite a few times
I usually go to Target before hand and buy a bunch of goodies.
Ooh, I love your black/white plate. I usually sneak some dark chocolate or trail mix into the movie theatre. I have also brought in a full on salad before…good thing not many people were in the theatre.
I remember walking in with some ColdStone icecream one time. I just told the guy that I was from out of town and that I have never had a problem with bringing it in and he let me in with it! I felt bad and havent done it since, but I am still a little proud.
Oh I love smuggling snacks into movies. Fresh fruit is always my go to but the other day I actually snuck pizza inside. I felt so spy-like
Enjoy your weekend!
