My Favorite Green Smoothie
Remember a few weeks ago, when I published my first WIAW post? In that post, I showed you a green smoothie that I had for breakfast. Well, I’ve been pretty much obsessed with that exact combination for the past, oh, two months.
Because I like it so much, I thought it might be worth sharing. It has a pretty nice nutritional profile too, which makes it perfect for a quick breakfast.
Green Smoothie with Peaches and Cinnamon
Serves 1*
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups frozen peaches
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 oz vanilla protein**
- 1 tablespoon creamy almond butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup water
Method
Place all ingredients in a blender, in the order listed above. Process until smooth.
Notes
*I drink this smoothie all by myself, but it’s pretty huge—approximately 4 cups. If you don’t have the same appetite for smoothies, then you could certainly save half in the refrigerator for a snack.
**I used this whey protein for the smoothie. Feel free to substitute your favorite brand. Alternatively, if you don’t like using protein powder, you could use Greek yogurt for a similar nutritional profile.

You’re so welcome! I know I appreciate cookbooks that include nutrition information for their recipes, so I figure it makes sense to provide the stats on my recipes too.
Mmmm this looks like a winning blend!
