Black Bean Almond Hummus

Black Bean Almond Hummus
Adapted from a recipe from Eat, Drink, and Be Vegan, by Dreena Burton
Makes 2/3 cup
- 3/4 cup cooked black beans
- juice from 1/2 small lime
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- salt, to taste
- lime wedge, for garnish
Method
Combine all ingredients except for lime wedge (garnish) in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Serve with whole wheat tortilla triangles and raw vegetables.
