Sweet Maple Pumpkin Hummus
(Makes approximately 3/4 cup)
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cooked chickpeas*
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 T almond butter
- 1 T pure maple syrup
- 1 t fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 t ground cinnamon
- 1/4 t ground nutmeg
- 1/4 t ground cloves
Method
1. Process all ingredients together using a blender, food processor, or immersion blender and serve.
Notes
*I use the Whole Foods 365 brand of no-salt-added canned chickpeas. If you use salted canned chickpeas, be sure to rinse them well prior to processing.
