Take a Whiff
As a chocolate-lover, I have consumed it in many forms—candy, cookies, hot cocoa, smoothies, and even oatmeal. Today, however, was host to an entirely new chocolate experience:
No that’s not chocolate lipstick. It’s Le Whif, a new breathable form of chocolate. My gastronomy professor was kind enough to order a whole box of these novelties so that the whole class could try it. These little tubes of aerosol chocolate are meant to be inhaled through the mouth so that the tiny chocolate particles may coat your tongue. Admittedly, as I sat reading the manual with instructions on how to properly snort this sweet substance, I felt a little odd—I mean, is this candy or some sort of drug? I had to laugh as I looked around at a classroom of girls wheezing in a cloud of cocoa fumes.
Nonetheless, it was a fun experience that I would recommend to any foodie. It tastes much like ground-up Oreo cookies, but with only 300 milligrams of product, this form of chocolate contains just one kcalorie.
What’s your favorite way to eat chocolate?
Aside from kcalories whiffed, I did actually eat a few things too.
I’m proud of myself for making these honey sesame cashews last this long. However, I only have a few left, which means a TJ’s run might be very necessary in the near future…
Another TJ’s favorite made an appearance today at lunch. Remember my beloved Carrot Ginger Soup? I doctored it up today with kale, chickpeas, ginger, and curry powder.
Once I came home from class, I had a package waiting for me:
Arnold certainly has me pegged—I am a may-juh PB&J kind of girl. Can’t wait to try out this new bread!
Dinner featured one of my favorite combinations, black beans, mango, and coconut. Recipe on the way!
Off to clutter my brain by watching Freaky Eaters on TLC:)

That sounds so neat, but would NOT satisfy my chocolate craving!
My favorite way to eat chocolate lately has been in tofu protein pudding! So gooey and delicious.
Favourite way to eat chocolate – as it is or in baked goods.
Beautiful lunch (and all of them, if I may say so)…you’re so creative with food combinations
I may have to steal the “carrot-ginger, kale, and chickpeas” combo from you. Yum
Mmm, I love chocolate butter–Katie’s chocolate butter. It’s amazing
Oooh, I love the Healthfull 10 grain! We buy it in bulk at Sam’s Club! My brothers don’t like the little seeds in them, but that’s why I love it!
Oh goodness, what will they think of next? I would love to try it just to see what it tastes like.
Favorite way to eat chocolate = with peanut butter.

Woh! That chocolate thing sounds incredible, I’d love to try that. I think my favorite way to eat chocolate is just plain (kinda boring) or go all out, and have a chocolate tart or something…I love the combination of raspberries and chocolate. As well as chocolate and orange, so delicious!
