Tomorrow IS Another Day…
I’ve been relying on the mantra of dear old Scarlett lately—I just can’t seem to get anything on my to-do list done in a timely manner. As is typical for me, I made a general list of tasks to complete for the week last Sunday. So far, all I’ve completed is “Do laundry,” and even that took two days before everything was folded and put away. I think I have been on vacation too long; the productive aspect of Caroline has been dormant for a few too many weeks. However, I still have four more days to complete the other tasks (e.g., a baking project, wrap Seth’s present, etc.). “After all, tomorrow is another day.”
If all else fails, I can always pull my usual to-do list trick: add “wake up,” just so I have something to cross off for the day:) Have you had a productive week thus far?
Instead of completing my intended responsibilities today I had another successful shopping trip. Check out today’s bargain:
Here’s how I kept myself fueled amongst the polka dot party:
Monday
Tropical smoothie night.
Tuesday
Another indoor workout this morning due to the painfully chilly weather here in ‘bama. Warm eats were very necessary today.
Mom and I took a break from shopping for lunch. I made a big salad and tried a few new products. The baked hummus chips didn’t taste much like hummus, sadly. The Wildwood probiotic hummus was uniquely delicious—there is a definite tang to it, but I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. Full details in a future review!
I wasn’t much in the mood for creative cooking this evening, so I stuck to and old favorite, tortilla soup with black beans.
Alright, off to tackle that pesky to-do list. Ciao!

That’s such a cute dress, you should model it for us!
I love roasted red pepper hummus, just got ED and BV too so I need to make some homemade hummus:)
Oh my gosh, I am the epitome of unproductive blob these days. I’m sorta missing the crazy stressful hecticness that is our lovely school!!
I wanted to try those freeze dried fruits SO BADLY this summer but they were so darn expensive!! Did you like them? Were they special or just meh?
hot dress!!
Heya Caroline! I’m new to the blogging world but I’ve been reading yours for awhile now. Your balanced and delicious-looking meals always inspire me. In reference to the not-able-to-get-anything-done feeling, I know what you mean. I just got back to school yesterday and already I’m swamped, but it hasn’t really set in. Whoops. Maybe it’s just the January blues thing. On the up side, your oat bran is really making me want breakfast right now haha. I ADORE oat bran, and those pineapples are super cool, too. Good luck with your list!
xox
i’ve been curious about that probiotic hummus but haven’t gotten around to trying it. yum that smoothie looks bomb, with the pumpkin flax granola oh baby!
Dude i totally pulled the “wake up”, “eat breakfast”, “brush teeth”, to do list today/ this whole entire break. =)
Miss you and cant wait to chill with you again roomie.
I would love to try that freeze-dried fruits. Of course you’d put it on oats! Nice!
Lol, I would love to see a pic of you in that lovely dress!
delicious eats, as always. i adore your smoothies! that dress is so cute & so much fun!
I do the same thing even I am unmotivated to complete a to do list! I also include other difficult tasks such as brushing teeth, eating breakfast, showering. Crossing off items makes me feel more productive!
Awesome dress!
I think I am finally getting motivated for the week to beging. Haha I love adding “wake up” to the to do list! I cheat sometimes and add tasks that I have already done just to cross off and feel accomplished
Did you SEE my last post?! Haha I’m so not productive these days! Where did you get that dress?! So cute! That’s disappointing about the humbles
Probiotic hummus? That’s so interesting.
I haven’t been very productive because there’s nothing to do. I love making lists though, and crossing stuff off
THAT DRESS IS ADORABLE!!!!! I SERIOUSLY SCROLLED DOWN TO COMMENT, AND NOW I AM GOING TO GO BACK UP AND LOOK AT THE FOOD.
WEAR IT AROUND THE HOUSE. FO SHO.
haha I love to-do lists. In fact, I’m checking mine off right now.
I guess my 3 weeks gone from home was so lacking in obligations, expectations, and tasks that now I’m happy to fulfill them here!

so cute!
freeze dried pineapple sound awesome atop the creamy dreamy oatbran!!
Hot dress! And that Wildwood hummus is the only brand of red pepper hummus I can stand! My carrot sticks don’t stand a chance when they’re dipped in that stuff!
You are the cutest! I love that dress! Is it going to make an appearance on a date night with Seth? Hehehehe! Probiotic hummus, huh? I’ve never seen such a thing! I am going to have to keep my eyes peeled for it. And yes, sometimes I am so not productive that I feel bad about it. And then, like you, I realize that tomorrow is another day. I hope you are well and enjoying the new year!
Your eats looks so fresh! Mmm, love the oat bran.
Good luck with the to do list – once you get tackling it, you’ll have things crossed off before you know it.
Those chips look so interesting!
Love the dress. It’s adorable!
